Description
California orders require verification as law enforcement officer, military service-member or security guard card w/ expandable baton permit.
These telescopic economy expandable steel batons work wonders in a confrontation. They are probably one of the least used and least understood self-defense tools on the market.
When being attacked, the steel baton provides at least a 16' (the smallest model) area of space between you and your assailant. The last thing you want is to be within arms reach of your attacker. The baton gives you leeway when facing someone. Not only do batons work well on humans, but they serve well in fending off rabid dogs and other animals as well.
Instructions: When defending yourself, you should aim for the attacker's joints (such as the arms or legs). Do NOT hit your attacker in the head, neck or spine as this will turn your baton into a lethal weapon (legally).
Here are the following lengths for the telescopic steel baton when it is closed:
16 inch - 7 inches closed
21 inch - 8 1/2 inches closed
26 inch - 10 inches closed
WARNING: We highly recommend that you take professional training before using the steel baton. Although it is normally considered a "less than lethal" option, it has the potential to become a deadly weapon if used incorrectly.
